Any good threads on cleaning out EFI intake components. I had removed everything from throttle body, Plenum, fuel rail and lower intake. Did some degreasing, carb cleaner and simple green with wire brushes, tooth brushes and other creative brushes. Not satisfied with the dullness but they're way cleaner than when I first removed them. I would like to either polish or paint them on my own. If anyone has good ideas then please share. This is just my DIY 94 X-Cab 2WD project. :D

    wats up chelu.

try hot tank it? i did the same, decarb spray, carb spray, brake clean, brush wire, soak in sea foam, and hot tank. got 90% of the dirt/sludge out. big difference but wasnt perfect and it wont be.

what exactly are u trying to do - just clean it? or prep for paint/power coat?

Take it all apart, spray the inside with oven cleaner. Usually takes two time to get all the black stuff off.
