    Stereo accesories . . .

When I buy car stereo stuff I buy my Stinger products there, awesome prices which even Ebay has a hard time keeping up with, except the Ebay seller ( Bagboy )! If you buy the quality stuff first and dont " rig " stuff, you will end up with a quality electrical system in the end. Things I see alot of is (1) underfusing capacity (2) Loose connections (3) improper splicing ( i.e. no shrink tubing or solder )! If people avoid running this junk there will be hella less problems. Can't wait to see pics of the upgrades ! Hope we helped !

Hope this helps guys. I didn't do mine yet but Lownloud helped me with this drawing. This is with the battery relocated to the bed. The blue line is your existing atlernator wire and is not being removed.

I got my alternator from ebay. Its a 120 amp. Seller says it puts out 75 amps at 700rpm and the rest at 1600rpm. Came in preety quick. I ordered it on Fri. and it got to me on Monday. Thats super fast being in Hawaii.

Heres the Wires that I will be running. I must addmit, it can get kinda expensive but I guess it depends on the quality that you want. I bought kicker 1/0 gauge kit that came with couple distribution blocks and an ANL fuse block. I love this wire! its really flexible and easy to work with. The shop owner also showed me the diference in the cheap stuff and what he called true AWG. (American wire gauge) The cheap stuff is mostly a fat outer jacket that makes the wire look big.

This is where my battery is going to be relocated. I'm gonna make a nice cover for it when I'm done. Yes it is behind the driver seat in that pocket were the xcab seat is supposed to be. I am not a race car driver so I'm not concerned about weight distribution:)

Ok, This is where I got out of hand:eek: In my process to find a good route for my wires, I decided to cut out the rest of my inner fenders and relocate all the crap along with the fuse box and other electrical stuff. I painted my radiator support today so I should be running some wire by this weekend. I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

Lownloud...Is it ok for me to change this wire to a 4gauge? It came off the battery positive terminal and goes to the fuse box. I found it to be a simple change by opening the bottom of the box.. I'm gonna change the one to the starter to a 4awg also.

    * * * If ya wanna upgrade or add a voltage gauge ( if you dont already have one ), you can upgrade to this digital gauge by Stinger, all U gotta do is find a spot, I have pictures of where I mounted mine, in the stock clock spot ! Mine is red, but if you type in search in Ebay or Stinger catalog you can get a few different kinds and blue as a color also . . .
