Hows it going everyone! Figured id post here before posting elsewhere. My name is Bottle, from socal. Picked up a 74 Hilux a few weeks ago from a junk yard that didn't ran and now waiting on my brake and lamp to begin its life as my daily since i melted 2 pistons in my cobra and had to sell it. I've owned 2 AE86 over the years and it as well as other Toyotas have made me become a Toyota lover as you cannot beat the reliability, and they have just made some of the coolest most awesome cars. After throwing away the emissions octopus and messing with the carburetor to make it run, I quickly realized that the aisan carb is a peice of crap, so i ripped it off and threw on a weber (way easier job than i expected) and now she is running perfect, way more power than i expected. Now to set her up for the race track!
