Headlights inop/but brites/parking work

    I have an 83SR54x4 my headlights don't work, but the parking/signal/brights work(when pushed forward not back). Replaced the bulbs, but still the same. Instrument panel illuminates and audible click is heard. Is it a bad switch? Wire? Any ideas?

    1988 Reg Cab Deluxe RN50
    Check fuses, if not could be the headlight switch or the dimmer switch as well.
