How do you get the head liner out of these trucks?

On the 84-88's & I believe all early trucks, they are a three wire type. There are wires going across & siting into brackets, you have to remove the rear glass & all side,& front trip plates ,than you can access the wires!

I changed mine to a hard one piece ,by installing a thin piece of wood over the whole roof area than covering with a high density foam, than a fabric.

You should be able to find a stock replacement though a after market company!

No this one is different. It seems to go behind were the truck.I dont know how to explain it.Part of the metal inside the truck is wrapped over the head liner if that makes sense.

The headliner is usually installed before the windshield and back glass, so its normal for the headliner toto be wrapped under the window... then the trim around the edge finishes it off.

The three wires give the headliner its shape and support in the middle.
