ok so awhile ago i replaced the fuel filter, after that i noticed i had a slow drip the right side of the tank (gas door side.) so yesterday i replaced all the rubber hoses.

tonight i come home same leak with only 2 gallons in the tank.

now tomarrow ill drop the tank again to see if i can find the leak, i cant tell where its comming from but the top right area of the tank where i can get my hand felt moist

any ideas guys? this is a real bummer cause i finnally got her runnin good

it runs down the right side of the tank

only thinks i can think of is the tank itself, the filler assembly, or the gaskets on top.

thanks for the reply, im going to mess with it after work tomarrow. i didnt drain it this time cause im going to try and see if i can see where its comming from

oh i only put 2-2.5 gallons of gas in the tank

    found it

oddly enough it was comming from the top. one of the nipples has a small crack on it so i put the cap on and shook the tank with gas in it and whadda know, fuel.

so im going to try and clean the rust off and jsut get a longer peice of hose to fit over it but its at a bend. if that dont work i may just cut it at the small crack and run the hose from there.

all else fails i know where one is in the junkyard

    jb weld

I think you can get a JB weld for fuel tanks. Try that first.
