fuel pump leaks gas

    Hi all,

    I have a toy 1987 standard pickup truck 20R the other day gas started leaking out from under the hood. I popped open the hood and found that the gas was coming from under the fuel pump where there was 2 screw holes one in the front part of the pump the other towards the rear. This is the hole that the gas was leaking out of Please advise.

    Replace the pump. Have you tried to remove the pump to check how tight the screws are?

    Like he said replace it sounds like the diaphragm is starting to leak there's a weep hole on the bottom of most of the pumps if it drips its done
