Hiy'all! It's a sunny day here in the bay and I'm about to get more grease under my nails. My first truck was a Stout and I drove it daily for years. I loved the 4-speed column shift, and if I had another one, I would leave that aspect if I could make it work with a 20R. I loved that truck, and got a lot of commentary while on the California highways as I drove it. Since then, I've always had a truck, and it was an S10 for the last 15 years. I've gotten a Toyota again, and since I've always liked the 88-94 Xtended cabs, that's what I ended up with -- a '92 V6 automatic. I saved an orphan. It was salvaged and was about a step away from going to the wrecker. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment. Automatic V6s don't normally fit my tastes but it has grown on me. The truck needs a transmission and I will have questions about that.
