So I am getting my ride back together. ready to reinstall the resurfaced flywheel and I realize that I did not make matchmarks when I removed it. Is this a big deal ? If I was putting on a new one how would I know where to set it ? any tricks appreciated ? does it really matter ??

    Thanks,

It doesn't really matter. If u had it balanced with the crank, it would, but i dnt know of anyone who would do that on these motors.

I'm pretty sure there is an alignment mark on them..
Balancing makes a difference. Going from a stock to a basic rebuild that was balanced, it definitely ran smoother, at idle and at soeeds.
