has anyone seen a flex-thru window aka"butterfly" glass?
i know they were discontinued a while back...
they stoppped making them in the late 80's
its a rear window that has to locks on each side, (kinf of like the ones on the window in the back of the xtra cabs) which allows it to pop out

Hmmm, I'm an auto glass tech and I have only seen one.
It was back in the 90's and we took it out of a datsun I think.
    It leaked like a sieve..lol

looked cool tho, but the rubber seal was old.
You would be hard pressed to find one ill tell you that.

Yup, they are really hard to find che'lu. The only guy I know you has a couple of those butterly windows is a guy name Eric aka "Birdbrain". You might want to see what deal you can work with him. Let me know how it works out. But, damn I wish they made these for tacomas, I would be all over it!!! Shootz che'lu

    Boner,

When you get one here in the 671, you have to guard it or it will be stolen in a blink of an eye. If you know what I mean. Back in school many years ago a Toy pulled up in the parking lot, stayed less than 30 minutes, & his butterfly grew wings.

I had a lexan window, they arent so great though. Scratches real easy & tint doesnt stick so good. Mine was factory tinted, but not dark enough.

I got an idea in my head to make it with lexan... Anyone got a spare set of extra-cab back window locks?
