[IMG]/[IMG]/Has anyone had any experience with these? The manual says to blow it out with air or rinse it w/water. Mine looks like it needs replaced. The complete assembly runs $70 plus. Does anyone know of a replacement filter? thanks

This is the EGR modulator. My parts catalog does not show a filter kit. I'm sure you can fabricate one.

It functions as a variable vacuum leak. The filter elements just keep the air clean going into the engine. Just wash them up and stick them back in no need to over think it. ;)

Yea, I didn't know how much it would affect the idle. I did fabricate one with some felt, not any difference. When I ease on the gas pedal it accelerates fine but, if I nail the pedal it boogs and hesitates alittle. That's why I checked it in the first place. I haven't noticed any vaccum leaks. Thanks for the feedback.
