Can someone point put where this sensor is at? My temp gauge isn't working on the dash and I'm hoping that's the problem.

Also does anyone know what the screw in the first picture is with the spring right next to the right of the letter F on the EFI? What does it adjust?

Sensor is one of the two threaded into the front of the intake/coolant housing right in front of the thermostat, and below the TPS. The screw with the spring is your idle kick up adjustment for the AC.

If you drive it here, I'd be happy to point at it.

The temp sensor on front of the intake is only for the ecu. Tells the ecu when the engine is at operating temp, etc. The one for your gauge is in the middle of the lower intake. Right next to the valve cover. Single wire attachment...

True, forgot about that. Also, there is also a temp switch for the cold start injector located next to the ECU sensor.

Got a question on your front bumper, what's that off of? Any gap issues with it?

Pull the cluster. On the back where the flexible pcb attaches check the screws. They may be loose. They provide the ground. Check them. Clean all the electrical connections there and re assemble.

nothing yet, going to do the dash this weekend like you said but going to try the thermostat first. I have a friend that his toy was doing the same thing and when he switched it out it worked. I'm hoping one of the two suggestions will work. On anther note, I need one more 4x4 fender so I can put the 4 runner bumper on.
