Im going to swap out the stock carb and I just bought a 32/36 Weber carb online with egr block off plates and all the plugs . I wanted to see if I absolutely need the fuel pressure regulator??? Or can I run the fuel line straight to the carb ?

My '76 has a 32/36 but no fuel pressure regulator. Not sure about the fuel pump though. I did hear it for the first time today, it stayed on for a few seconds after I shut the truck off.

Im not sure if that year came with electric. But if it's mechanical it should stop when the engine stops. Either way I'm just gonna run it without the FPR until next payday or so
