I have a 78 one like it but mines not a dually always wondered what it would look like as one now I know

 

Hey where did you find to fix your dash? Kind of curious since i was interested in trying to get mine fixed. Does it look like it's been repaired or does it look pretty flawless?

 

just dashes is the place that restores the dash but it about 600 to 800 bucks. i can also post a link for the glue on dash caps if thats the way you want to go, just let me know.

 

got the dash fixed and it looks close to oem i will post pic later.

thanks. well thursday on the way home from work the fuel pump went out for the 2nd time. im going to do away with the one in the tank. im putting a inline pump on the frame.

^ I can see your tire, that can be more of bad thing then good but alest you can check to see if you tire is running low

 

Ok haven been on here in a while so here some up dates on the truck. Pulled it apart and fond a lot more rust. So we bought another 78 for parts. I will post some pics shortly

 

here are some pictures. we are replacing the bed, cab and a few other parts she was really rough once we stated pulling her apart. and also here a teaser for what is also being done.

 

I have to say, this is probably the coolest looking dually I have ever seen!

 

thanks right now she is not very cool she is in peices some are in the living room some are in the back of my other truck. but she is going to be looking better that she did new when we get done.

Parts are for the most part the same as a regular truck the rear fenders and extra cab is where it get fun trying to find the stuff

 

Up date today we stripped down the parts truck so it can get blasted

 

How is it coming along? I'm curious to see how the cab looks when it's apart. I may end up having to redo my cab mounts entirely because it has pretty good rattle... Check out my pics in my Agent Orange build thread.

 

Going tomorrow to see how the parts truck looks at the blasters. I will post pics of the progress
