Dash swap

    Hey guys I'm thinking of swapping my dash out for a 90-93 style dash into my 87. has anyone done this or look into it? any help would be great

    yup its been done before. I think you need the dash support bar and the floor brackets.

    does anyone know if the gauges pull and play?

    I may do this to my 87 4wd

    The new dash is so much nicer than the old gen dash

    Isn't the vin # on the dash tho???

    hey guys thanks for the info time to head out to the junk yard and see what I can find. I'll just swap vin plates

    Ok I this thread is pretty much dead, and it's been 4ever since I last posted, but I finally found a good donor dash out of a 94 4-runner. It is not a bolt in swap by any means, it's also not that difficult either. In all I got maybe 9 hours involved in fitting this dash, it also helps that I dont have A/C or heat either.
