    image.jpeg Just picked up a 1984 2wd,it has some mods done to it already(crank torsions ,4"block,-middle leaf,flip over load,15/8 Mickey Thompson ,36/36webber,hedder,exhaust,
Kyb rear shocks. Previous owner said motor was bore 40+? Got the truck home and looked over everything better. Loose bolts every where, the torsion bolt were scraped up,notch cut in cross member with no plate welded in ,floor pans, passenger pillar and door jamb rusted out, stereo wiring hacked, bad control arm bushings. You get the idea. So it looks like my dd has turned in to a project. So first thing on the list get the suspension rite(rekey torsion,bj flip, stereo)got to have tunes.next to make rear stiff so I can load dirt bikes and replace control arm bushings. Ounce I get the the motor running good and the suspension smooth I'll start on the rust

Thas the worst thing about buying an old vehicle. You never know whats happened or been done. Take your time and get it running and make it safe to drive. Then worry about the cosmetics.
