k so further down the to do list on my truck is figure out a center console that will work other than oem 4runner or the trucks cause finding one around here is like a needle in a hay stack so i was looking at something like this. btw yes i have buckets im going to call the company in the morning to see if they have one like that for our trucks, that one is for a late 70s-80s jeep the cooler thing is nice but i was thinking id be nice cause i can put a ratchet with adapers, 2 extentions and the following sockets 8 20 12 14 17 19 and a plug socket. the skrew drivers are in the glove box while my truck is down im working on the interior atm at night and building a car by day
I may make one out of wood if I can't get the 4Runner console and cover it with some of that carpet stuff they sell over at Wal Mart (I still need 4Runner or SR5 seats). My girlfriend's dad made a custom trunk for their Baja Beetle that's b****en. It can hold a cooler, a quart of oil, and a small tool box; He measured and cut, then test fitted and everything worked fine. It's funny though, you guys know how typically girls' dads don't like us? It's the opposite for me, he shows me everything he's added to the Baja everytime I go over there, like I'm one of his buddies! He used to drive a Toyota Hilux, too, so maybe he just digs my truck.
got a email back saying the one they listed on ebay for the late 70s to 83ish jeep fits fine. gonna take measurements to see f it will workwith my 85 celica gts seats

Ya that's a real nice console. I got lucky since I have a SR5 truck which came with the console but I would almost prefer that one.
