this happened a while ago, I should have asked earlier.. after my friend and I took my rear differential out and put it back in, he bled the brakes for me (because I don't know how ), and this is what happened: the first few inches of stepping on the brake pedal are very soft and almost no braking power, but then after a certain point I get real braking power. any idea why? I think I remember reading something about a load sensor that affects braking power and is affected by a lowered rear, could that cause it? or maybe he didn't bleed the brakes correctly? thanks in advance
no trick, I just bled all my brakes and the lspv. guess my friend doesn't really know how to bleed brakes either.. lol
Awesome that you got it worked out and learned two new things in the process, 1) How to bleed brakes, and 2) Who not to call when you need mechanical advice/help with your vehicles ... LOL JK ...
haha! you speak the truth.. I used to think he was so great at working with cars, but lately like during the past half year.. I guess I've been learning more and more and am starting to feel like he talks the talk but can't walk the walk. cool story, bro: the same guy drifted on the street across from my house.. the road goes uphill then curves left, starts going downhill in the curve, and straightens out while still going downhill.. well, it had rained a lot and he decided to drift that crazy road.. but he had just recently started drifting his sr20det s13, obviously he had not practiced enough with a more powerful car--he used to be pretty good at drifting his old s14 with stock ka24de. so, this happened yesterday: http://imgur.com/a/PK9lR
