I've seen a coupe guys make a new plate and move the upper control arm mounts up, can someone tell me the advantages in doing this, is it just so it will not bind layed out? Thanks in advance.

I belive this is an effort to avoid a traditional frame z. To be honest I wouldn't wanna fool with that geometry and risk something messing up. I'd just z it..

I think this is what your talking about. And yes as mike said you can do this instead of a Z. If you have the ability to go this route it is less work, BUT, if your measurements are off or angles incorrect you can mess the whole front end up.

Do it the way you feel most comfortable and post up picks when you decide which way to go. :waytogo:
