I know I am a fairly new member, and from all of the reading of threads I have done I really love this community, and it's focus on mini trucks. I know there are other forums dedicated to Tacomas, but with a different community mindset. Why not include the Tacoma as a mini? There were a few years there that it should be considered a mini. I was wondering if any thought has been given to adding a Tacoma section, for at least the years of the mini Tacoma? Just a thought from a new member who feels like this could be his new forum home. the guy that started this forum also started customtacos.com. as far as i remember he did this site and didn't expect it to really take off. customtacos.com was sold several years ago, but that is why there isn't a tacoma section.

It's a different feel altogether. After 95, Toyota in the good ol' US of A, stopped making the smaller size trucks. Even though I like Tacomas, it would be like adding a Corolla section. It's not a Toyota Trucks forum.
A tacoma 95-04 would be nice.... but i still manage to lurk around both forums ......customtacos is barely rolling by and tacomaworld has like you said "a different mindset"....best advice is keep your taco and buy yourself a mini

Hopefully one day I will, I almost stepped into one before I found my 99 reg cab 2wd Tacoma. But for now I love this truck even if it isn't considered a true mini truck, and can't wait to get it where I want it. Looks like a good crowd of people over here, so I guess whether or not there is a 95-99 tacoma section I will start posting up.
i honestly would not be against adding a tacoma 95-04 section on here as it truly is still a mini truck unlike the 05+. this section should be added since i know a few tacoma guys do lurk here but find no use in staying since there is no section for them.... how many votes to open a new section to include our last gen mini truck brothers!?! add your name! 1. 4. DionTDE I have both and feel i get much better help on this site for my Tacoma as is. Thats why i started my own forum for my Taco.
Listen, I'm not against it, but at the top of the page it says: "Forum dedicated to Toyota Stout, Hilux, and Pickup Owners" That would also have to be changed. We've talked about it before, but I believe that it was left at the decision that change is not always for the better. I'll email Jeff and ask again.
I will say that I've enjoyed the family here at Toyotaminis. I think we could expand without losing that feel, but I love the fact that most of our members are wise enough to withhold comment instead of flaming new guys or silly questions.
I haven't been on here in a while but I'll chime in. I wouldn't have a problem with it either with the way each model is broken down by years.
You won't hate it, I really love my Tacoma. And will be putting in some work when I move to Washington State later this yr. Please add my name to the list, as little as it means.
I started posting on customtacos.com but seem to get little to no response and have more restrictions and catch my self asking here anyways. Usually I PM beefed taco from here for everything anyways.
