So one of the things on my winter work list was to change out the nylon bushings on the trans tower that the sifter shaft sets into & on the shaft end. Got these from LC a while ago,any way it fit seems that there are three different sizes, my trans is a W55, so now have to wait to get the red one LC is sending.
If any one is replacing this item measure the hole OD!!

The new shifter bushing makes a hell of a change if the original one is busted

Yeah, the bushings I removed I changed out in 2006 when the new LC Pro Street engine went in ,the shiftier is there short throw unit. I've had a nose in 5th gear when you ease up on the throttle for a long time & replaced all the bearings in the trans last winter, nose was less but still there. I noticed that when I pushed forward on the shift shaft at speed the nose went away so hoping the bushings were just badly worn, the large one was very soft!
