It would buy you some room, but at what cost? $700? I think you'd be better off (if this is the only problem,) clearancing the A-arm. Cut out what you need to clear, and take a piece of 1" or 1 1/4" tubing and weld it back in to close it up. There is plenty of meat on the factory arm. So it would end up looking like a cute little C notch for the steering linkage.

And I will post up more pics as we finish the details.

Sure, I noticed that you will need to clearance the bushing and washer slightly too. Shouldn't be a big deal at all...

I've got my stock arms if you mess it up...
    Doubt you could though.

Ya he'll have his stock arms an I'll have mine off in a week or so for my cando arms. The cando arms cost me all together 850. Ridiculous but I'm sure they're worth it

with the rear tires being 9.5" were you running it that wide without cutting your bed or did you have to cut the bed to run that?
    and size on front?

265/35/18's in the rear with 9.5" wheels, and 225/40/18's in the fronts with 7.5" wheels.

The rears fit with the 3" static drop no problems, and could've dropped it more. Only cut out the bed for the bags... You'd have to be sure of the proper offset though, I believe these are a -20mm. Usually (I'm told) toyota pickups and tacos run a -42mm offset.

In the front, I wasn't happy with the -42mm either and ended up adding a 25mm spacer plus the 1/4" hat rotor for the brakes, effectively creating a -10 or -12mm offset. They're out there, but I like the wells filled.
