    Hey guys,

I have a 1974 Toyota Hilux, I'm in the process of adding an alarm. I already install the door actuators and just need to finish running the wires. Has any one done this? I need some help to figure out which wires to tap into for the alarm. If anyone has any info it would appreciated :waytogo:.

I have installed alarms on both my 75 and 76, as far as what wires to tap into depends a lot on the alarm and how elaborate it is. When you say you already installed the door actuators, are you doing power locks or just door pins to activate the alarm when a door is opened?
I,m running power windows, power door locks, ect. ect. and none is original wiring as they never had that option, so without knowing what your alarm needs to be connected to its hard to say what wires you need to use.

Im only adding the power door locks so it can unlock and lock with the alarm. The alarm is a simple viper alarm, and it has a kill relay. what wires from the ignition switch to I tap into?
