had this happen once before. if i am on a trip and run my AC for say 3 to 5 hours my floor becomes wet. my drain is clear but i am assuming a crack internally or? my ac runs strong no problems there.
Sounds like a bad valve on the evaporator. It's faction is to keep the evaporator from freezing thus no water leakage from it!
Could be a bad expansion valve . Or dirt in the system blocking the valve causing freeze up like mentioned .. If it doesn't do it on short runs around town takes a long time for water to appear on the floor That's usually a sign that the coil is building ice on it (aka freezing up ) blower cant blow air as well (maybe kicking water everywhere ) as air is forced around the solid Icey coil .....
Dont recall if . Toyota trucks have expansion valves or a inline ac orifice tube If its a expansion valve it will be close to the interior coil be small block or round thing . More than likely located inside the black box the heat coil and ac coil sit in .. Proably a sob to get to
It is fitted to the evaporator, which is inside a box behind the glove box. You have to discharge the system, remove both hoses @ the fire wall,&remove that box, which you will open up! You can find the parts you will need online. The system will have to be vacuumed & recharged!
