No, just attached to underside of the bed. The larger tires scrubbed, but the lower profile haven't scrubbed once.
The way they are attached is with flat bar front and back, then a small piece of angle on top of the arch and inside the lip of the bed. If that makes some sort of sense.

 

Here it is fellas, I got the rear body on. It's a little rough, but I can work with
The rear quarters were chopped as it was on a 4x4, but I will likely make a steel tube bumper
Will also be looking at getting the springs done for another 2 inch rear drop to level it out

 

Never before have I see a mixture of generations on one body.
