Hey everyone new to the site. My 16yo found a 1976 chinook motorhome in a barn where he duck hunts. It has 5k miles on it and has had gas in it since 1990. Took fuel tank out and it has a to. Of crap in it and has a few pin holes in it. My question is does anyone know where I can get a new tank. I have had no luck online. Thanks

Why not just invest in a new fuel cell? And welcome to the site.

    Check with toyotamotorhomes.com.
    Good source for parts.

The cab and chassis is the same as a regular hilux pickup. Any 1976 pickup tank will fit.

Yup. There are a lot of different types out there at different prices. Some can be very reasonable. At least with a new one you know you will have a good tank.

I usually use amazon to find things then I research with the part numbers. Just get the w/h/d and gallon size then just type in "Fuel Cell" in amazon and search for one with your dimensions/specs. Not too hard.
