Does a 4x4 fenders fit a 2wd truck looking forward to buy some for my 83 pickup?

Yes they will bolt right up and you have to get the valance that attaches to the bottem/front of the fenders.

You will run into the problem of your 2wd side plastic pieces on either side of your front bumper will be too long (don't cut them down) they will not go past the 4x4 fender flare you'll need to get the 4wd ones they are shorter.

    Goo luck

You must have the chrome bumper from the 79/81 when the side pieces were metal and chrome? The side plastic pieces in 82/83 were not the best design imo but I'm sure it was more cost effective.

    Glad to hear it clears.

If I would have kept the 4wd fenders on I was going to go with the 79/81 bumper but changed my mind kept the 2wd and went with an 84 paintable bumper and lower valance with a chrome grill and chrome and headlight buckets, think it should look pretty clean when the truck gets painted bottem to top: painted, painted, chrome.
