    1) Just my cat back taken off and switched out for straight piping exhaust system and check engine light goes on, is that normal?

    2) I use to have regular fenders and had them converted to 4x4 head light all changed and stuff, and now when I'm driving at night my lights just shut off, but for only a second and then turn back on, how do I find the source of the problem?

    1. Yes, if you run a straight cat back the ecu will throw a code che'lu. You will need to get a O2 simulator, that's what I did for my taco.

    2. Hmmmm....That sounds weird. It shouldn't turn off and then back on. Just reverify connections and did this occur before you did the swap???[/

I had gotten bucket seats off of another toy pickup forgot the year and the driver side bolt patterns match the pattern, but little did I know that the passenger side doesn't match what toy buckets will match?

Don't know what year model toy will be a direct bolt on. But, I do know that you should be able to get one or two bolts in. You would just need to drill for the other two bolts.

Supra swap??? Lot's of cash and $$$ needed. But, if you can afford that setup I would go with the 2jz motor! :waytogo:

You would have to mod up some engine and trans mounts and the worst part would be running all the wires etc. Just a pain in the arse but can be done. Good luck on the build che'lu. I'm sticking with my little 4cyl motor! 2rz FTW ;)
