    was looking at buying a 1980 toyota 4x4 with a 21R-U and a 5 speed but never heard of that motor. has anyone everhad that motor and is it any good thanks

    75 hilux, 80 4x4
    its a 1.9 ltr 22r.


    head is rumored to be the same as a 22r with a smaller then a 20r bottom end.



    this motor was made for displacement restrictions in some countrys.

    78 lolux and an 89 ramcharger
    weird. i heard it was just a different designation for a 22. but i also heard it was a forklift motor. who knows. maybe this has that crank you were talking about.
