Im just skeptical about the 2RZ/3RZ because of the wiring. Seems like more of a pain in the behind

From what I've heard, if you get the whole harness it's not too bad and there are only like 4-5 wires that have to be hooked up to run it.

Thats including all the emissions though. There was one guy who was trying to do it without it and it was taking em a bit

He also fabbed a full frame for that truck and i think he modified the core support and firewall.

Yeah, all the builds I've seen that go 1uz have done extensive mods, like bagging the truck and adding new frame rails, etc.

Who knows where to find the 75-78 Hilux frame dimension blueprint? I found one for an 85 and it's got 18.9" between motor mounts. Frame width OD is 27.56" up front.

Not sure how accurate it is, but found 20" to be the width between 1uz motor mounts - it wasn't clear where this measurement was taken.

Hmm so only 17.7" at motor mounts and frame doesn't look much wider ID. Is that blueprint for the pre-75 or post-75?

It looks to be good for '72-'78, different brackets mean different models. I know that my '73 had less width at the narrowest point than my '78.
