Hello all,

Just started digging into the '76 Hilux I just bought. Starts but runs really rough. Further inspection showed that the secondary barrel of the carb wasn't working at all. In fact, due to how crusty it looked down there I'd speculate that it hasn't seen fuel flow in some time.

Revved it up and all and it never showed any signs of engaging.

Anyone have some direction on this? I know I could start with a good cleaning, but if there are also tricks to this I'm all ears.

Sounds like a vacuum issue... The secondary only opens under full throttle while driving.
Do the spring mod, it made my 20r come alive.
