    What wheel offset?

I had 205/60-15 on 15X7 0mm offset wheels on my 1988 and the tires stuck out the fenders, front and rear. No way could it be lowered 3" unless you have 4X4 fenders and bed. It worked with the stock height because the suspension would hit the bump stops before the tires would hit fenders.

I went back to 195/75-14 with 14X6 6mm offset wheels and every thing lines up nicely.
