Question. If you use the Toyota 4runner flywheel, do they removed the spacer from the back of the flex plate? Or run it and do the 5/16 reduction of material from the flywheel

Small update. Finally took the truck off the jack stands. Going to take the bed off this week to cut the gas tank crossmember to make room for the propeller shaft. Still need to mount the radiator.

Built a temporary tranmission mount so i can move the truck around on its own when the shaft is installed. Here is how the transmission sits. Still need to cut the center piece of the cab.

I know it sucks but the engine is level with the transmission that high up. I found some civic seats in el paso. The drivers side is mounted. Ill do the passenger once i have a new transmission tunnel. I dont want the floor of the cab flexing.
Had to drill out the piece that the original seats mounted to. You were right there wasnt head room with that peice in. Also bent the seat rail mounts to sit flat which also brought it lower. The shifter is in a really nice spot too.

Looks like you're getting it though. Yeah focus on getting that driveshaft tunneled then do the other seat. Now it looks like you won't be able to get a mail-ordered carpet kit. I've been quoted around $350 for one so be ready for that.

Front end put back together today. Decided to put my 2wd fenders on. Ill save the 4wd fenders for a later time. I like the 2wd front end.

Its a great day today! Truck is finally moving on her own power. I had trouble bleeding the clutch and i think i still have to bleed it a bit more.
Let me tell you something... no traction. I just barely let go of the clutch and this truck wants to get up and go.
I also had to relearn how to drive a manual vehicle.
Things still on the list are coolant, trans tunnel, exhaust.

Videos will come soon. I need a gopro.
Adding to the to do list since i forgot a couple of things. List might just get bigger over time haha

Cold air intake. Possibly a different intake since current one is made of spare parts.
    Radiator fans.
    Replace idle air control hoses.
    Polish wheels
Replace driver and passenger side windows and window sweeps.

Removed battery tray to start cold air intake.

Thanks! I dont know the exact measurements. Its for a 90s MR2. I am not running a/c so there is more room for it. I also had to move windshield washer reservoir and cut into the front core support.

Nice progress on the truck. Certainly gives me inspiration. I finally got my engine/trans pulled from my donor today.
So the MR2 radiator...how much did you have to tweak to get it to fit? Is there any room for the AC condenser? I really want to keep my AC. GA heat and humidity make it a must have.
I'm sure I read it in your earlier posts, but are you using a W55 or W58?

Thanks. I almost gave up a couple of times but i had to much time invested into this to just throw in the towel.
This is my first build on a vehicle. I did everything by myself and learned alot. You dont know how many times i just stared at my truck going "how am i goinv to do this wothout any help" then i just got creative with jack stands, engine hoist, pry bars, and spare rims.

I pretty much cut about 1 inch towards the center from the front cab mounts. Im wanting to do a tube front in the future.
There is room for an ac condenser you would have to get creative with hood latch.
Ac compressor you would have to run lines towards passenger side of firewall.
I still have all of my original ac parts stored away for when i do a tube front end. It will be easier to install then.
Im running a w58 off a supra. I also have a spare w58 off a celica supra i need to rebuild incase i grenade mine.

I'm gonna bother you with another question. Is your truck manual steering?

Went hunting for an electric fan today and found this.

Its off a 1994 Volvo 850. Its the same fan used on the ford taurus. The fan control is also easy to grab. 2 speed fan. Designed as a puller fan. You can switch the wires and make a pusher fan. Thats how im going to use it.

Here is a video of truck idling after reinstalling radiator and adding the fan.

Sorry i dont have any pictures of the recent progress. I always forget to take any pics when i get carried away with a small project.
This is operating temperature. Truck was running for more then 20 minutes when i checked it. I need to get a seperate gauge to get an accurate reading since these are know for showing wrong readings
