Ok I'm wanting to lift my 1992 toyota pickup extended cab 2wd truck But I wanna put a 4 inch lift on it any opinions?
No one makes a specific lift kit for our trucks. You will have to piece it together. Fabtech lift spindles if you can find them and then some downey or fabtech upper control arms are your best bet. You can also crank up the torsions for like 3'' of lift but it will ride like ass. You can also pick up a set of balljoint spacers from http://www.sdori.com/SDORI_Products.html Then you could also do a body lift. The rear is harder because you cant do blocks. You can piece together a new spring pack from the junk yard and get some lift, buy a new lift rear springs, or do a spring flip kit but you will gain like 5'' of lift. OR... if you want to spend the money and actually use this thing in the dirt, look up long travel kits from total chaos, fabtech, and JD fad and then rear springs from deaver or national.
TOTAL CHAOS FABRICATION - 1984-1995 Pickup 2WD 5 Lug Uniball Long Travel Suspension Kit Add in the coilovers of your choice and some 64" chevy springs out back and you're in business.
Thats the front end I have on my truck... Long travel kits and lift kits are 2 different things though. With high speed desert runs, you want as little lift as needed for ground clearance and for a lower COG. Lift kits are for fitting bigger tires.
Sorry I don't have any useful input on this topic but damn that truck is sexy Robert always loved prerunner desert trucks
Robert, do you have anymore pics of your front shock setup. I'm stuck on how I should run my shock hoops and am looking for ideas
