My diff is seeping a bit of fluid, I will axle be removing in it and replacing the 3rd member seal and pinion seal..
I was looking at some locker option so I could do it all at once,
I was trying to confirm gearing and axle size.

My code is G 052. which from the research I came up with was a 8 inch axle
    with gearing???

Anyone put a spartan locker or lock right in theirs?
    1978 truck..

Lockwrongs are fawking terrible in the rear end. They have over 1/4 turn of slack built into them so they can lock/unlock. For a drop in grab an aussie locker. Same type of design but refined to be almost seamless.

I'm still open diff'd until I find a limited slip from a supra. I know lots of people that have ran the aussie out back and all are happy. I can say the exact opposite of the lockwrong.

I had a lock right in my jeep, up front.. the ex still crawls in and never showed failure.. I don't have anything bad to say about them. but.. I'll give the aussie a shot..

Lockwrongs are great in the front. I've ran them in both low and high pinion toyota diffs and in a front dana 60. They are only annoying in the back.
