That's not s 3 link. It's a torque arm with Panhard. Same type of suspension I'm going with.

A bit... ok a lot over the top fancy for my rig but it looks sweet. :D

Could you do me a ginormous favor next time you talk to your wiring guy and ask about wiring up a stock beams sans chipped key? If he can do it I'll go with the beams and let him do the harness.

You're right on the suspension, they said 3 link to begin with and it appears they changed direction and I typed 3 link still.

As far as the stock Beams ECU working without the chip, I don't know if you can bypass that with wiring. Shoot Mark at www.panicwire.com an email and see what he can do, he makes good stuff.

After I posted yesterday I clicked the link to their shop. They are pretty reasonable for what they do.

I know the chip can't be bypassed with wiring but I don't know if they do computer work. A lot of shops can access all makes of American ecu to eliminate secondary O2 sensors, remove automatic trans functions etc. I have no idea if anyone does such a thing in the import world. It seems with imports everyone simply replaces the stock system.

He mostly deals with wiring, best bet would be to ask. He makes a lot of different harnesses.

I guess they just call it by a different name, instead of torque arm he said 3 link with a lift arm.

Another update, slowly but surely making progress!

Torque arm is tied in now.

Some extra bracing, the rear disc conversion is under way, and QA1s mounted.

Flares showed up today, they are a bit bigger than I had imagined, I'm not sure if my 16x8 -10 Starion wheels are going to fit properly in them.... :(

They look nice. How are they going to fit the curve of the wheel arc?

Not sure, the truck is pulled apart and in the shop, I'll have to take them over and see. Hopefully they fit fine.

It's just a little late to worry about cutting old metal.

That's what I thought but it's so far from stock at this point I'm not sure if a few more cuts are going to matter... We had to cut out the tunnel to get the trans to fit(the only rust in the truck was the front right corner of the pass side)

Well, if my -10 Starions fit without needing to pull or put on the flares, the flares will be going up for sale. Otherwise there will most likely be cutting.
