Hey, just wanted to get these posted up...next weekend's project: lower the little guy!

Wheels are off of an Infiniti Q45...15x7 et35 if I recall correctly. The tires are 205/50r15 Falken Ziex.

Now we're talking...but it probably won't end up that loooooow. I'm thinking 2-3 in the front, 3-4 in the rear, all static drop, no bags.

I've got a new sway bar in the works for the front andI really like the Belltech springs for a Mighty Max that were posted up in another thread...seriously thinking that direction with new shocks all the way around.

I bought them from a lady who had them on her Q45, but doing a little digging I think they're off an I30T. Not certain though...some people on Nissan sites seem to think they also came off Q45's too.

I wasn't sold on them either when I first picked them up...but $100 and they got me through the summer with the tires that were on them. I debated on going back to stock wheels, but these were just begging for some short tires, so they're what I'll roll for now.

Yeah, pics of your truck inspired the look. I like it so far. Someday something else might find its way onto the Lux, but for now I dig the BBS's.

definitely want to lower it, but i'm not big on slamming it. i really like the look of SCCA-type celica's from the same vintage. that's the style/look i'm going for, not slammed or panel dragging.

thanks kev! if i ever let them go, i'll let you know. right now they're too cheap to replace with anything that will look half as nice. since i put the new rubber on them they've grown on me a ton! i'm actually really enjoying them.

like i've been saying, next step is lowering the sled. i'm thinking about a set of belltech lowering springs for a mitsubishi max pickup. another thread on here has a writeup on using them and i like that idea better than cutting my stock springs. my stock springs are shot after years of not having the shocks replaced, so they're so soft they're not good for much. the belltech spring rate should be considerably higher, but i've had a hard time nailing down exactly what it is...or if it's progressive or linear for that matter. for under $200 it isnt that big of a deal though...if i hate them i can afford to go another route later.
