It lets the hot air out faster making your motor run more efficently.

It's done a lot on rodders.

    Thanks for the comments.
Yeah, the spaced hood is to let the heat out and keep the engine running cooler. It works wonders.

Looks good but time to remove the rear mudflap brackets also. What is up the roll bar. Does it go into the cab? Any interior pics. What are the drop specs?

Very nice man, as has been said, its different from most of the trucks I've seen, two questions: what paint did you use for that finish and did u clear coat it? and whats ur suspension setup?

I'm curious about the hose that went from the throttle body to the valve cover. Looks like theres a filter on the valve cover and the hose is just tucked to the side.

What's the effect on the engine?

if im not mistaken that was th hose that connects where he gots his filter at now. And there is no effect at all. it will just look funny putting a filter sid ways on his pelinium(intake). I could be wrong but thats my input.

    Thanks for the comments

    Yeah, around $125 I paid.

    I kinda like the mudflaps...
The roll bar goes on top of the cab. I might build a 6 point cage inside and connect the roll bar through the roof. The interior I'm still working on...I'll post some pics once I finish.
Front dropped by 2" Sprindles, rear by 3" blocks. KYB shocks.

I used Krylon Rust Tough Rust Semi Flat Black paint. It took me 3 days, 16 cans and lots of sandpaper.

The hose gets air from the throttle to the valve cover. But if you disconnect the hose, you can see the pressure from the valve cover is shooting engine oil through the hose and into the throttle body and intake manifold....not good. I replaced the hose by adding a breather filter on the valve cover, and sealed the open end of the hose. Then I used the throttle body cleaner to clean out all the oil and grease. You won't believe how much oil is clogging up the intake.
