ok .. so here she is ... a build already going , but bringing you "up to date" as per some requests . it'll be fast and furious for a bit .. untill were caught up . HERE is where I started ... dont mind the date on the pic .. it was the original pic from the guy I bought it from .. how about that .. 2 years to the day I started the deal for purchace
ok .. so I started with a bare/stripped frame .. I bought in the "package deal" the original trekker was in a front end collision , so it needed a new frame .. Cleaning up the frame and building some things I wanted
You got yourself a killer project, its very rare to see those Trekkers and its going to be very interesting to see what else you do to it. I know Im loving the updates, keep up the good work. . .
thanks guys for all your comments !!! but were not caught up yet ! afer all the welding done , time to blow it all apart for the POR-15 treatment .. and done . and all the pieces .. you get the idea ... .
yes you can brush it on .. I used a brush on alot of the parts ... it' also sprayable .. I have a "shutz" gun pressure pot , so I was able to do the INSIDE of the frame as well .
started to strip the old girl and saddened by the rust I found so I cut it all out , and rebuilt it all . and sent it out for a blast .. and with the "new" front clip .. ready to weld on all seamsealed , and epoxied .
