So I have had a problem with my power windows running slow & the drivers side not going all the way up for some time. I had taken the drivers side motor apart ,cleaned, lubed & was going up all the way for a short time.
The motors are old & worn, wouldn't find new replacements until now. Just ordered two new ones so can't wait to replace them, photo's to follow!

Try a cleaning and lubricating (dry silicone) of the window track seals in the upper section of the door.

That is a no go. I did take the drivers side apart, cleaned & greased, helped for a bit ,but the answer is replacement!
