Recommendation on which ones? Looking for 3". I'm not sure if it really matters which ones I get, because they vary in price online (Amazon/eBay)
    Thanks!

Sounds like a good amount of people go with the cheaper universal blocks from chain stores. Some have issues, some don't.

For what it's worth, I recently placed an order for blocks from Beefed Tacos. Much higher quality kit made specifically for our trucks. To me, the quality is worth the investment. Ultimately up to you though.

Order from beefed or you can always look for "lift" blocks online those are usually pretty beefy

I haven't installed mine yet but I got my 3" blocks and ubolts as a kit off eBay -- all steel vs the alloy ones. I had a k5 blazer years ago that cracked an alloy block somehow, good thing it didn't fall out!

Oh, I forgot, balltech has drop blocks available, seems like they're a trusted brand from what I've seen on here?

Blocks will be the cheap and easy way to go, drop leafs will be pricier and require new shocks that are shorter.

I ran aluminum Belltech block for a couple years before I made the switch to drop springs.

axle wrap and wheel hop. Blocks are kinda a dirty way to go, just slappin in some spacers between the leaf and the axle. Drops leafs is like a stock setup, just de-arched to create a lower ride. It is much cleaner and reliable.

That being said, I do plan on going lower, and have been looking at one of Beefed Taco's 1" lowering bolt to leaf blocks.

If youre just cruising in your truck you wont even notice any wheel hop or axle wrap.

Angled blocks are what to use, keeps the pinion angle correct.
When I rode static dropped I ran 2'' angled blocks & 2'' dropped rear springs, the rear end was hitting the frame over bumps so I just moved ahead & installed the 8'' frame notch has bagging was in my plan!
At the front I had installed Belltech dropped spindles has was needed for bagging.

Typically for drop blocks, thin end toward the transmission to point pinion downward to maintain proper driveline angles, since you're now moving the axle upward.
