Hi everyone,

Dan from Colorado Springs. Ive been in the Toyota 4x4 scene for a long time... and its taken me just as long to figure out that maybe i should build a mini truck to DD so crossing the threshold from weekend wheeler to dedicated 4x4 build won't come with as many consequences.

Anyways, I just picked up an '88 2WD Reg Cab 22R 4spd in nice shape and I'm currently rebuilding a 1UZ to power it. Keeping it pretty simple just an interior refresh, 1UZ swap, and maybe lowered a little bit on the cheap.

I know I have plenty of reading to do, but are there any retailers/manufacturers that do much for this scene??
