Idle surge

    Hey guys. Need some help. Been lookn online abiut this idling problem ive got on my 22re. Not all the time but when its just sutting it idles up and down fast then high then normal. Read about the idle screw. Anyone else have this problem? If so any rups in a how to fix?

    Factory A/C ?
    Maybe the compressor cycling on and off?

    Try cleaning the throttle body, the butterfly gets carbon buildup on the backside and sometimes won't let it close like it should.

    And while you have it off you can check the tps with a multimeter and make sure it's still functioning right.

    There's a good chance one of those is the cause

    Well guys...little yota took a dump on me. She is out of commission ...BUUUT a new yota will be in the driveway saturday! so now project yota can begin!

    Seems I had this problem a long time ago & it was the IAC , idle control valve , a broken wire on the unit which I was able to repair.
