I finally got around to throwing on the BBS meshies I've had sitting in a corner of the shop for months. They came off of a 1991 Lincoln Town Car. 15x6.5 +~14mm.

Tires are 215/65R15 Sumitomos which I am very happy with so far. I know it's more sidewall than most of the cool kids here run but I'm a big fan of the late 80's sport look and I need the weight capacity for work hauling.

very small difference, the lincoln wheels come in two different offsets, the mesh is flat, the star pattern in the middle is jagged. the crown vic wheels come in one offest, the mesh is "overlapped", and the star pattern in the middle has solid edges.

I don't hit or rub anything with the black truck. The white one I was on bumpstops up front and was a real bitch. It wasn't a daily... it didn't turn for shit without rubbing the fenders that were pulled and rolled like crazy.

How else would you do it besides leaving the center cap off?

I'm not an expert, but you could run a small wheel spacer up front...just enough to clear the cap.

What is your wheel size and offset on your black truck? And your tire size? That's an awesome looking truck!

Yes and no. It will always be a good source of info but it has died off.

But when I'm on Craigslist I typically look up Nissan 350/370, Infiniti Q, Lexus, 2nd gen Scion XB, and Ford. I tend to start vague and distill it down based on my current "market".

Any Jeep also uses the same bolt pattern but off-road wheels tend to be heavier. It just depends on your expectations man... What are you looking for more specifically?

I'd just like to find some accurate info on what fits the truck, ford ranger rims don't fit, without modification, seem lots have same bolt pattern 5x114.3 it's the center bore size that doesn't match with most. Center Bore: 67.1 mm

Any 5x4.5 wheel will work as long as the center hole fits the hub. Toyota wheels are “lug centric “ as opposed to “hub centric “. The center hole can be slightly larger with no effect on mounting.

Well I can find several 5x114.3 the center bore seems to keep being the problem, I haven't run into any with center/hub bore being larger, most I've found have to be modified to fit

Forget the 114.3. It translates to 4.5. Most Jeep wheels will fit. If you limit yourself to 114.3 you’re not going to find much selection.

I think where I'm running into trouble finding direct bolt on without modifying, is that I'm trying to stay 14" rims. The ford ranger rims I tried are 4.5, but center bore will not work without modifying, again 14" rims, the 15" may work, but not looking to go bigger. I'm going to do a jeep search see what comes up

Go to summit racing. You can buy 14” white wagon wheels for about $50 each. With free shipping . That’s what I’m using. 14”on the front, 15” on the rear. If you don’t want the white you can also get in chrome. I’m using the white with ABS wheel covers. They have a great selection of steel and cast wheels also.

Aside from machining to fit, I'd imagine you could also use a wheel spacer to get around the center hub bore conflict
