Since I didnt do a build thread for my last truck I wanted to start one for this one. I recently picked up a 22RE powered 1st gen hilux. She needs a lot of work but I think its a great base to start with. Heres a few pics from the day I got her. More updates to come!

    Hope y'all enjoy!
    Andrew

Darn I was hoping you were going to say you live
    In nor cali.
I was hoping to check out your truck for reference
Because I want to do a 22re swap on my 69 hilux.
I like your Japan style turn signal lights that
    Are in your fenders.
I like them better than the usa style that
Sit on the top of the fenders.
I think it is a cleaner look.
I have a set I am going to put on my truck also.
I just have to get around to doing it.

    A little update!
Opened the box of goodies the previous owner sent with me and found a buch of cool stuff! Looks like those Chevron Style mirrors, some steering box seals, oil filter, all the nuts and bolts taken off the truck and BRAND NEW window trim and door seals fresh from Thailand! dont forget about the freshly powdercoated steelies with the boring center caps lol!

Also started some rust treatment on the roof! I thought of clearcoating it to show the petina but wasnt coming out as well as id hoped, more sanding to go! :brickknock:
