Hi guys and girls. I was directed here from Facebook. I honestly didn't realize forums were still a thing. Lol. Im here to look for tips and tricks and just general advice about these great little trucks. My truck is a 79 SR5 short wheel base that I purchased from the original owner about two years ago. Its since been blocked in a back corner of my property and I haven't been able to do anything with it. Today I was able to sell the last vehicle that was blocking it in and I pulled it out to get started on it. My goal for right now is just to get it running and driving and get it a little closer to the ground. Im keeping the patina and only fixing the dents I can fix without hurting the paint any more. A little further down the road and Ill look into putting it on air and eventually doing a body drop on it. But that won't be for some time since its one of three other projects I'm trying to finish.
