New to all this Toyota ownership stuff but got a 94' 260xxx mile pretty clean little 22re manual truck, posted a thread trying to identify a vacuum hose and a saw a stray wire in the starter loom but everything seems good so I'm overall happy! Got some clean rims from a 02' Mustang on it ! and about to replace which seems like the hardest part to get to tomorrow the fuel filer!... ugh haha hmu with any suggestions on anything that goes with a 260xxx mile truck or filter removal lol. 2016-02-06 19.43.36.jpg

The first time was exactly 1 week. They took it joyriding I guess until they dumped it in a field over on olive and chestnut.

Second time was a few weeks, they gutted the interior and thrashed it up pretty good.

Third time was a few days I think. I suspect I did something to someone, because they took it, drove the snot out of it and then slashed my new Yokohamas and busted the windows. It was literally a block away from my house at the time.

All 3 times police found it. And it's been retrieved in gradually declining condition lol.

I could absolutely tell lol... Cross shaft for the passenger upper arm was broken, the engine needed a rebuild.... It was thrashed.

I've had alarms, redundant clutch cancel switches, all kinds of stuff. Its true that you never stop a thief, just slow them down.

Thanks again everyone! Another update: Tow yard won't release until I have registration which was stolen,so not until I get to the dmv Monday,(more storage fees) car was recovered last night at 10:30 pm in a abandoned residential area off Barstow and Cresta (island waterpark) wheels and tires still on the car, but they cut the catalytic converter out, they sawed part of my steering wheel just for fun, stole the radio, stole the speakers, broke all the lower plastic(glove box ect.) Killed the battery, and left a bunch of fruit loops and a spoon, also a sweet 7-11 soda cup.. they also left my repair manual.. thanks I guess? Haha I just hope once I get a battery to it there isn't any problems with the powertrain.
