Ioh by the way I had the timing chane done about 2y. Because back then the motor ran like krap. You'll have to see it. I know it won't leave me on the road, but it's some thing I would like to do since it was my pops and I bout it from him befor he past 3y ago.

To be onest I really don't know that much about performance parts for 22re I want it as a dailly driver but with a kick at least 25to 30 up more. That's why I was thinking of buying an lce engine. But as u can see 20 something people seen my post an ur the only on that replied, and I know there's ppl with 22re from lce but they stay quayet

Check out engnbldr.com for the parts. They are the cheapest and some of the better quality out there.

Gasket set. (if you need to bore the engine...) pistons, rings, timing chain and tensioner, oil and water pump.

Machine shop work- Bore the block, clean it (hot tanking), new freeze plugs, hone, valve job.

You should really do a compression test on your motor (or Ill do it for you no prob). My truck has almost 150K miles on it stock and its reeallly good and tight. Ive seen several 22RE's timing chain get loose (over time just wearing out) and rattle and knock like no other. Maybe your just due for a timing chain job.

      Hope it helps, Oliver.

By the way, I had a coworker leave to go work at a refinery. Union job maitenence man. Overpayed lazy pig bastard!

      Im just jealous.
