what are the best front shock for a lowered truck? Wanting a stiffer ride so I don't slam on dips on the freeway thanks!
Most all shock companies have a list where you can find the shock that will fit your need! You need you know what extended & collapsed length will work!
I know they do. I was wondering which one is better. I was thinking about kyb shocks. Wondering about nitto drop shocks also
I have the silver kybs. There a little soft for my taste but all n all they ride good. Im going with the drop shock when i replace them
Thanks. Yeah I was thinking about getting monomax but if the drop shock ones are better then I'll go that rout.
I've used KYB's on most of my rides, ordered the Nitro Dropped shocks when I first rode static ,they would not fit through the upper a-arm!! I have run Doshtech shocks ever sense being bagged!!
Not sure which one is better. Ive heard yay and nay on both. Different opinions from everyone. If you do get them lmk what you think about them.
just to let you know... decided on the kb monomax. BEST damn decision ever. i have drop spindles. great ride. front end gives a LITTLE on bumps and dips but only enough for a comfortable ride. I love them.
Do they have a drop shock mono max? I'm on LCA's and cranked torsions for camber and don't want to bottom them out and blow them. Any help?
Did you go with the KB monomax for your year/make or some other application? I have read guys using Camro shocks...?
I've been looking since about June, I can't seem to find monomax's for a camero, maybe someone can help out with a part number
funny i was just reading through some of this write up myself....on shocks. check it out.. http://toyotaminis.com/forum/threads/stock-drop-shock-guide-chart.17415/
Oh man... I read that some time ago, that sd guy is a wizzard, that gets a bit hard to follow lots of info, can almost get lost
Just picked up a set of monomax and swapped out the monroes that were in there, the kyb's are quite stiff, took some muscle to install
