I've got 2 inch drop spindles and lowered the torsion bars another 2 inches what's the easiest way to lower the front without doing a ball joint flip
Park the front tires in a pothole Seriously though, a ball joint flip is easy compared to some of the other options.
Easy yes, but bumpsteer sucks, especially if you commute on the freeway. I'm about to flip mine back. Even with a brand new steering damper it's a PITA. @OP: You're looking at drop LCA's and that's about it unless you want to bag.
I plan on c notching the rear and I'm trying to get the front a little lower cause the rear would be much lower than the front after the c notch
Has anyone here used those djm 3 inch arms from summit racing I just don't want it to drastically change the turning radius on it or these http://uinstallation.us/tcimg/T/188-IFSA.JPG ?
DJM lowering arms won't lower your truck. They only allow for proper alignment. I bought their 3"/4" kit and that is what the rep at DJM said. The instructions that you get with the kit tell you to loosen the torsion bars to achieve the 3" drop.
they dont? really? if not thats bs, because i thought you could use those with the drop spindles to get you around 5" of drop.
They do lower the suspension. If your torsion bars are at the same setting with stock arms and djm lower arms the djm setup will be 3" lower. If you have djm arms and you want to go back to stock height you'd have to crank the bars up far passed stock to get the height back.
